Financial Services > Business Loans > Government Grants
Government grants are available to new business, though they are usually limited to certain industries, to help towards specific projects, or to help new businesses establish themselves in certain economic areas, usually earmarked 'regeneration' areas. Some funding may be found through such bodies as the Learning & Skills Council; others might come from central government direct, or even through a local Chamber of Commerce.
For younger business people between 18-30, there may be the possibility of funding through the Prince's Trust. Financial support might even be available for those wanting to achieve best practice status in some areas.
Grants do often have to be sought out, sometimes with some perseverance but you might be surprised to discover what you're entitled to.
