Secured Loan Services (SLS) is set to expand across the Asia Pacific region in response to increasing opportunities, particularly in the ever-growing Chinese economy and in Australia .
The groups managing director, David Burrows, said that the business is "well placed to expand aggressively both in the UK and overseas" .
"For some time now we have been keeping a close eye on the lending markets in the Asia Pacific region where growth is far outstripping any other part of the world," he commented.
"We just cant ignore what is going on in China and other areas."
The company head stressed that the right team is in place to help take the UK business forward.
"I will be heading up a team based in Singapore during the early part of 2008 to take advantage of these opportunities as well as continuing to head the UK operation," he said.
This move is set to coincide with the completion of a management restructure at the company that has already seen Mat Manser appointed as the new sales director and Andy Creighton taking on the role of operations director .
"Both Manser and Creighton have made a real impact having recruited excellent teams and are driving the growth and development of SLS," added Burrows.
